Bereavement Support

At some time in our lives we will all experience bereavement, its impact possibly being one of the most distressing events we may face. Understanding and coping with grief can be very challenging and in some cases complex.

As experienced funeral directors, we are often involved at the beginning of the grieving process but we very much pride ourselves in being the first line of bereavement care at that moment and moving forward. We provide empathy, care, and support, throughout the many potential stages of grief, whilst helping you move forward as you learn to cope without your loved one.

Our commitment is to afford every one of our clients the necessary time and reassurance in helping them through their own personal journey. This may include offering some comfort and a simple chat over a cup of tea or coffee at our premises, set within a calming and tranquil environment.

We are also able to offer guidance in many other ways, this includes connections to numerous local and national helplines, groups, charities and organisations that are able to provide you with care and support.

Please be assured that from your first call to us, all information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We have provided links below to some of the bereavement support and counselling organisations that are available to you.

As members of the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), we are able, through our association with SAIFCare to offer professional help and support via a Freephone Bereavement Care Line, Email Support and An Online Chat Box.
